Join us at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 8 at Rattleback Records in Chicago where Rolling Stones historian Bill German will discuss his ups and downs with “the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world.”

His book, Under Their Thumb: How a Nice Boy from Brooklyn Got Mixed up with the Rolling Stones (and Lived to Tell about It), chronicles his unlikely friendship with the Stones (forged when he was just a teenager) and how he was hired as the band’s official historian. He traveled the world with them, stayed at their homes, had a front row seat at private jam sessions, attended decadent parties, and witnessed some vicious in-fighting.

Bill will share his fascinating and humorous stories with us on Saturday, October 8th, at noon, followed by a book signing*.

We have limited space available in our shop, so purchasing a ticket in advance is the best way to insure entry to the talk and book signing.

We will open at 10:00 A.M. the day of the event for same day sales for entry to the talk/signing—$35 entry fee which includes the talk and a copy of the book can be purchased that day in the shop.

On site ticket purchases to the talk/signing will be allowed until fifteen minutes before the start time of the event as long as space allows.

Additional copies of the book can be purchased at the event for the MSRP of $29.95 as long as supplies last.

As we are a retail shop and not an event space, the event will be standing room only. If you are unable to stand during the event, please contact us at rattlebackrecordsevents@gmail.com and we will arrange accommodations.

*Ticket purchase includes admission to the author talk AND one copy of the book Under Their Thumb: How a Nice Boy from Brooklyn Got Mixed up with the Rolling Stones (and Lived to Tell about It).
